Privacy policy

Applies to the Batchly Android application and to this website.

Last updated: 25 July 2026 · Effective: 25 July 2026

The short version: Batchly collects nothing. Every record you enter stays on your device. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising. We could not see your production data even if we wanted to.

2. What data we collect

None. Batchly does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or business data. Specifically, the application does not collect:

3. How your information is used

Everything you enter into Batchly — batches, raw-material lots, products, machines, reject reasons, costs, quality notes, goals and settings — is written to storage on your own device and used solely to display it back to you inside the application: your lists, detail screens, traceability views, charts and exports.

None of it is transmitted anywhere. We operate no server for Batchly, so there is no back end for the data to reach.

4. Data sharing and disclosure

We share nothing, because we receive nothing. There are no advertising partners, no analytics providers, no data brokers and no cloud processors involved in this application.

Data leaves your device only when you deliberately make it leave — by using the export or backup features to write a JSON or CSV file, or by sending that file somewhere using your device's share sheet. Once you do that, the file is in your hands and this policy no longer controls where it goes.

5. Data security

Records are stored in the application's private storage area, which Android isolates from other applications on the device. Quality and inspection notes are additionally encrypted at rest with AES, and the encryption key is held in Android's hardware-backed secure storage (Keystore-protected), not in the database itself.

Because everything is local, the security of your records ultimately depends on the security of your device. We recommend keeping a screen lock enabled and keeping your Android version up to date.

6. Data retention

Your data is retained on your device for exactly as long as you choose to keep it. We retain nothing, because we hold nothing.

You can erase it at any time by:

Please note: because we hold no copy of your records, deletion is permanent and we cannot restore anything for you. Use Settings → Backup before clearing data or changing devices.

7. No user accounts

Batchly has no sign-up, no sign-in, no password and no user profile. You are never asked to identify yourself, and the application maintains no concept of a user identity. There is therefore no account for us to hold, compromise or hand over.

8. Children's privacy

Batchly is a business record-keeping tool intended for adults working in production and manufacturing settings. It is not directed at children.

Because the application collects no data from anyone at all, it collects no data from children either. We therefore do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and are compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent regulations by construction.

9. Your rights

Data-protection law gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your personal data. In the case of Batchly these rights are satisfied directly by the application itself, without needing to contact anyone:

Right of accessOpen the app — all of your data is visible in it.
Right to rectificationEdit any batch, lot or product at any time.
Right to erasureDelete individual records, use Settings → Clear all data, or uninstall.
Right to portabilitySettings → Export produces a complete JSON or CSV copy.
Right to object / restrictNothing is processed by us, so there is nothing to object to or restrict.

If you would like to exercise a right that is not covered above, write to hello@mrstores.site.

10. Third-party services

Batchly integrates no third-party services. The application contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no social login and no tracking library of any kind.

The application is distributed through Google Play. Google's own handling of your download and installation is governed by Google's privacy policy and is outside our control.

11. Permissions

Batchly declares exactly one Android permission:

INTERNET Used for a single purpose: loading this privacy policy page from https://mrstores.site/privacy-policy.html when you tap Privacy Policy in the app's Settings screen. No production data is ever sent over this connection — it only fetches this page.

Batchly requests no access to storage, camera, microphone, location, contacts, phone state or any other sensitive permission.

12. Google Play Data safety declaration

Our Data safety declaration on the Google Play listing for Batchly states:

This policy and that declaration are consistent, and both are accurate.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address and the “last updated” date at the top of the page will change. Because the application loads this page live, you will always see the current version from within the app.

Should we ever introduce a feature that does collect data — which we have no plan to do — we would say so here clearly and update the Google Play Data safety declaration before releasing it.

15. Legal basis and compliance

The data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR is M R STORES, Radhapur Bazar, Lakshmipur Sadar, Bangladesh. There is no joint controller, no data processor and no third-party sub-processor involved in Batchly.

Because the application performs no collection or processing of personal data on our behalf, no legal basis under Article 6 GDPR is engaged, no international data transfer takes place, and no Data Protection Impact Assessment is required.

For the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA): we do not collect personal information, we do not sell or share personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. California residents therefore have nothing to opt out of.

This policy is published in compliance with Google Play's User Data policy and its requirement that every application provide an accurate, accessible privacy policy.
