An Android app by M R STORES

Batchly

The production register your floor already keeps — on a phone that works with no signal. Log each batch with the raw-material lots it consumed, its output and its rejects. Yield, wastage and cost per good unit are worked out for you. And when somebody asks which finished batches contain a bad lot, you can answer in seconds.

The problem

A paper register answers “what did we make?” but not “where did it go?”

Small production units — agrovet and animal health, food, cosmetics, chemicals, plastics, light engineering — write the day’s output into a register. It records what was made. What it does not do is connect a finished batch to the specific drums, sacks or reels that went into it.

We know the problem because we have it. M R STORES manufactures agrovet products, and Batchly started as the tool we wanted for our own floor.

So when a supplier tells you one lot was contaminated, or a customer complains about a specific production date, someone spends an afternoon reading handwriting backwards. And nobody notices that yield has been drifting down for three weeks, because nothing adds it up.

Batchly is that register, kept properly. It runs entirely on the phone in your pocket, on a floor with no mobile signal, without an account.

What it does

Everything the register should have been doing

Log every production run

Product, batch number, date, shift, machine, operator and planned quantity. The batch number is suggested for you so the sequence never breaks.

Consume raw-material lots

Pick the actual lots that went into the run and how much of each. Stock comes off the inventory automatically — no second register to keep in step.

Output and rejects, by reason

Record good quantity and reject quantity against a reason code. Reasons are yours to define, and they are what the Pareto chart is built from later.

Yield, wastage and cost per unit

Worked out the moment you save the batch, against the target yield you set for that product. Good, warning and below-target figures are marked with a symbol as well as a colour, so the column still reads on a photocopy.

Raw-material lot inventory

Receive lots with supplier, lot number, quantity, unit cost and expiry date. Remaining stock is always current because it is derived from what you actually consumed.

Traceability, both directions

Open a finished batch and see every raw lot inside it. Open a raw lot and see every batch it went into. That second direction is the one a recall actually needs, and the one a paper register cannot give you.

Insights that point somewhere

Yield trend against target, a Pareto of reject reasons so you can see which few causes make most of the scrap, output by machine, and cost per unit over time. Every chart has a “show data table” view underneath it.

Find anything

Search across batches, lots and products. Filter by status, machine, shift or product, sort how you like, tag what matters and pin the lines you check daily.

Your data, exportable

Full export to JSON and CSV, plus backup and restore to a file or the share sheet. Nothing is locked in. Delete the app and the data goes with it.

Streaks, goals and badges

A daily logging streak, monthly yield and output goals, and badges for things worth hitting — a zero-reject batch, a month above target. Logging every shift is the whole game; this is what keeps it honest.

A today list, not a notification

Batches still in progress, lots expiring soon and materials running low, gathered on one screen you open when you want it. Batchly never sends you a push notification.

Private by construction

Quality notes are encrypted on the device. Theme, accent and density are yours to set. There is no account to create, no server to trust and no analytics SDK in the build.

Permissions & privacy

What Batchly asks for

Batchly declares exactly one Android permission: INTERNET. It is used for a single purpose — loading this website’s privacy policy when you tap it in Settings. No production data ever leaves your device.

The Google Play Data safety declaration for Batchly is no data collected and no data shared. There are no third-party SDKs, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising libraries in the app.
