No. Every feature — logging batches, consuming lots, traceability, charts, export — works with the phone in aeroplane mode. The only thing that needs a connection is the Privacy Policy button in Settings, which opens this website.

On your device only, in the app’s private storage. Quality notes are additionally encrypted. We operate no server for Batchly, so there is nowhere else for the data to be.

Settings → Backup writes a single file containing everything. Move that file to the new phone however you like, install Batchly, then use Settings → Restore. Because there is no account, this is the only way records travel — and it means they only travel when you decide to move them.

The data goes with it, permanently. Android deletes the app’s private storage on uninstall and we hold no copy. Take a backup first if you want to keep your records.

Yes. Export to CSV and open it in any spreadsheet. There is also a JSON export if you want the complete structure including the lot links, which CSV flattens.

When you record a batch you pick the raw-material lots it consumed. Batchly keeps that link permanently, in both directions. Open a batch to see the lots inside it. Open a lot to see every batch it went into — which is the question a recall asks, and the one a paper register cannot answer quickly.

Not on shared data. Batchly is a single-device app by design — that is what lets it work offline with no account and collect nothing. Each phone keeps its own records. If a shared, multi-user version would be useful to you, tell us; it would need a very different privacy posture and we would want to hear the case for it first.

Not at the moment. Batchly is Android only.

It is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. We built it for our own floor and saw no reason not to publish it. Since the app collects nothing and shows no advertising, there is no hidden revenue in it either.

Please write to hello@mrstores.site with your phone model, your Android version, and what you were doing when it happened. Batchly has no crash reporting built in — that is deliberate, but it does mean we only find out when somebody tells us.
